Energy cf-70 manual

I red somewhere that efficiency was on the low side - I don't know about that, when I tested it against one of my older speakers, CF dominated it by good 3 to 6dB effectively I could not hear much of the old one. Heavy - it has to be to avoid resonances and stay in place. Shiny front - but it's not for touching same like plasma tv. May lead you to other upgrades in your audio equipment and associated expenses - if you do so you may as well convert it from 5.

Overall Review: I can't say if I ever get them to their full potential hard to properly break them in in typical apartment settings - unless you're about to move out and don't care;.

It's very subjective and hard to compare to past listening session but I think that you may find some surprises in you audio library. Did not use them for movies yet.

Pros: The speakers are heavy - but the sound quality is delectable! I was able go hear nuances from my digital recordings that none of the speakers I have used have ever produced. Pros: Absolutely amazing. Very happy with purchasing. The built quality is solid. They are pretty tall and appealing making living room a great upgrade. I like the high end looking.

The CF's are impressive all-around speakers performing well on all material I've used. The high's and vocal ranges sound very good and detailed. The lower frequencies are tight and extended. In fact the bass response is so good on the CF's that if I didn't already own a subwoofer I probably wouldn't feel the need to have one.

Speaker cables are stranded copper 14 guage with Sewell banana connectors. Cons: I also own pricey audiophile gear and have speaker cables thast cost more than a pair of the CF's on sale at Newegg. My overall impression is that the CF's are not just very impressive all-around speakers, they are probably one of the best values in home audio at the sale price. I continue to be impressed by how well the very modestly priced but feature rich Onkyo receiver and Energy speakers work together in a 5.

Overall Review: Compliments to Newegg. Energy speaker systems owners manual loudspeakers connoisseur series, pro series 12 pages. Energy loudspeakers musical truth owners manual 32 pages. The main difference is broad polar pattern, which allows forming a three-dimensional picture, also falling back to first reflections from walls, floor and ceiling.

You feel it immediately - the scene is extensive, deep and sound sources are focused even at very far distances. In whole the sound differs by high intelligibility, there is no "mess" or veil in difficult phonograms that in combination with high dynamics makes a strong impression. Bass is tight; control is slightly lost in the lowest area, where some monotony appears. Double-bass is played energetically and effectively, its tone has lots of nuances. It sparkles and thumps, and gives you enough through the middle to slide by in critical listening sessions, but it will not remind you of a British monitor.

But, at its very affordable price, it brings a lot of value, is pretty efficient, and can fill a large room with a lot of crisp sound.

None of its flaws stick out in the least in drawing you away from the sound. For anyone looking for a budget big speaker, the CF should definitely be on your audition list.
